Liturgy & Prayer

Liturgy and prayer are essential in the life of Lourdes High School because we believe our worship honors and praises God. Celebrating our faith together allows us to further build our Christian community. We are called to worship in communion with one another through song and word. "Let us come before him with a song of praise, joyfully sing out our psalms.” Psalm 95:2

We are called to full and active participation in our celebration of the Liturgy. We encounter God through our act of worship by engaging in prayer, listening and experiencing His word and ultimately receiving the Eucharist - the source and summit of our Catholic faith. Our worship manifests in the way we live our lives. Our active participation in worship further brings to life our Franciscan charism of living the Gospel always, and using words only when necessary.

Mass Schedule

We gather as a faith community for the Celebration of the Eucharist at least once or twice a month in the Fine Arts Auditorium.
