  • RCS Summer Academy Lit Camp is Filling Fast!!

Summer Academy’s Lit Camp has only a few spots remaining! Lit Camp is a 4 week, half day experience for students entering grades 3, 4, and 5.

Campers will be immersed in reading and writing all in a fun camp-like setting! The Lit Camp model is based on literacy skills, social-emotional development and engagement. The curriculum is based around 7 strengths: belonging, friendship, kindness, curiosity, courage, and hope. Great stories will be shared, comprehension skills practiced, independent reading time given, and time for writing and reflection. Of course, no camping experience would be complete without games, songs and snacks! This fun summer experience is limited to 15 “campers”! Campers may miss days if they are involved in other summer activities or on vacation. They will still get much out of this experience!

Lit Camp is offered July 10 August 4 (M-F) at Lourdes High School from 9:00-11:30 a.m. The camp leader is Mrs. Robin Erickson. Click here to register!
