Ways to Give

Cash Gifts

A cash gift is the most simple and efficient way to offer support, providing RCS with immediate available funds. To make a cash gift you can pay by credit card online, mail a check, or set up an EFT option (electronic funds transfer).

Pledges

A pledge allows an individual to make a series of contributions over a selected period of time. RCS is delighted to set up a customized pledge program to fit the needs and desires of donors over a year or multi-year time period.

Matching Gifts

Each year, several corporations match gifts to RCS through matching gift programs. Gifts can be matched by the employer of the donor or the donor’s spouse. You may wish to check with your employer for the possibility of matching funds or RCS is delighted to investigate this for you. This is an excellent way to exponentially increase gifts to Rochester Catholic Schools!

Bequests

Individuals often make bequests to designate a certain dollar amount, percentage of an asset or estate or specific item(s) in their estate plan to RCS, whether by will, trust or beneficiary designation(s) of IRA’s, brokerage accounts or other financial assets in accordance with our gift acceptance policy.

Estate Gifts

An individual may give a lifetime gift by transferring title to real estate owned. This option may allow for significant tax benefits for the donor.

Stock Gifts

There is the option to give a gift of stocks, bonds, or other investment securities (including mutual funds). This option may also yield tremendous tax benefits for you and RCS. Contact the Department of Advancement for additional information.

Life Insurance Gifts

An individual may designate RCS as a beneficiary under any new or existing life insurance policy. Depending how the policy is structured, you may be eligible for tax savings.

Payroll Deduction (RCS Staff)

RCS employees have the opportunity to give a recurring monthly gift through payroll deductions, offering a gift to RCS while enjoying tax savings.
